Under the Bed Tarot is a 78 card tarot deck designed and illustrated by Lark Malakai Grey. It is a gender-free tarot deck of monsters, and is designed to be beginner-friendly so that readers of any level can connect with the cards.
The monsters of Under the Bed tarot will gently guide you through the scary things you most need to know, holding a mirror to your soul and inviting you to learn to love what you find. It’s a bit like checking under the bed for monsters—it takes nerve to look, but you always feel better once you do.
Created by a transgender artist, this de-gendered tarot deck aims to strip away the confines of gender and let the true message of each card shine through.
In his effort to make the deck beginner friendly, Lark beta-tested the cards with friends who knew nothing about tarot, adjusting the cards based on their feedback. The end result is something he is extremely proud of, and we here at Creepy Girl Trap PDX are honored to be able to offer Lark's Under the Bed Tarot to the world.
